FAQ

Q: The pre-made Battle Cattle Holgus says its Medium Udder has 3 slots, but on page 19 it says 2 slots for a Medium Udder.  What is up with that?
A: Holgus is a typo.  The correct number of slots for a Medium Udder is "2".

Q: Hey, where did the description for the Galloway go?
A: Boy, you got us...For those of you just dying to know the background of the Galloway, here it is: Galloway - Originating in the province of the same name in southwest Scotland, the Galloway's origin is a mystery as a vague reference was made in the 11th century, with the next true records not existing until the 18th century. The Galloway was eventually imported to the United States by way of Canada in 1853.

Q: On page 17 in the "Cow Types" chart it lists a Galloway's TDN at "8", but in your example on page 20 it refers to a "9" TDN.  Which is correct?
A: The example on page 20 is a typo.  The correct TDN for a Galloway is "8".

Q: On page 17 in the "Cow Types" chart it lists a Highland's Moo-vment as "6", but on page 40 in the "Moo-vement" section, the Highland's moo-vement is "5".  Which is correct?
A: The example on page 40 is a typo.  The correct Moo-vement for a Highland is "6".

Q: On page 52 in the "Weapons" chart it lists a Machine Gun's base to hit as "8", but on page 41 the example says "7". Which is correct?
A: The example on page 41 is a typo.  The correct base to hit for a Machine Gun is "8".

Q: On page 53 in the "Armor" chart it lists Kevlar's Damage Points as "30", but on page 42 in the "Damage" section Kevlar armor says "15 Points".  Which is correct?
A: The example on page 42 is a typo.  The correct Armor Points for Kevlar is "30".

Q: On page 52 in the "Weapons" chart it lists a Recoilless Rifle's Tipping as "+3", but on page 42 in the "Tipping" section it says "+2".  Which is correct?
A: The example on page 42 is a typo.  The correct Tipping number is "+3".

A: Page 52 is correct.  The damage for a Flamethrower is "2d6".

Q: The pre-made Battle Cattle Holgus says its Heavy Laser to hit is "2", but the base to hit of "5" minus Sight Amplification 2 should make it "3".  What is correct?
A: The to hit on the pre-made Holgus is a typo.  The correct to hit for the Heavy Laser is "3".

Q: Could you clarify the Cloak Generator?
A: It is meant to explain that a CG can be used for two 3-turn intervals.  So, you turn it "on", it lasts for 3
turns, then it automatically turns off.  You can do this twice (two, 3-turn intervals).

Q: Does the Shield Generator protect against energy weapons?
A: Nope.  Only projectile weapons.  Some have actually tried to argue that a laser IS a projectile weapon of light.  I tend to strongly disagree.

Q: Do Stingers fire automatically?
A: Stingers are used at your decision.  If someone is firing a missile at your cow, say, "I fire a Stinger to stop it!!!" before they roll their to hit.  From there, one stinger defense missile for each separate missile fired at your cow.

Q: If the Base to Hit number is as stated "or more" (i.e. a laser is 5 to hit on 2d6) it seems the Cow Patties AID the target Cow in shooting?
A: When it is written "a minus to your to hit", it is meant to explain a minus on your to hit ROLL.  i.e. if you need a 5 or more to hit and have two cow patties on you, you subtract 2 from your to hit roll...So, rolling a 6 would equal "6" - "2" = "4"....A MISS.  Get it?
